James Bailey brings proven, every-down linebacker production to Fresno State
Bailey’s case is built on reliability and volume: Fresno State lists him as a linebacker who started all 14 games in 2018 and finished with 80 tackles, while ESPN’s player profile shows career production including 147 solo tackles, 3 sacks, 1 forced fumble and 1 interception. His differentiator is consistency and durability—he has been a high-usage defender who can stay on the field and finish plays, which matters for a team needing dependable interior run support and steadiness rather than flash. Reliable, physical, and assignment-sound, he profiles as a solid fit for a defense that values toughness and trust.
