Galon Thompson brings edge-speed upside to Texas Southern's front seven
No reliable, current stat line for Galon Thompson was surfaced, but his value profile is the classic DE pitch: if Texas Southern is featuring him, the appeal is burst off the edge, active hands, and disruptive effort rather than empty-calorie highlight chasing. For a fit, he looks like the kind of defender who can help most in a system that wants pressure, pursuit, and relentless motor over pure size-based mauling. The big question is usage and consistency—if he’s earning snaps, it usually means the staff trusts his energy and assignment discipline.
