V.J. McElroy brings Baylor versatile DB value with return-game juice
V.J. McElroy’s Baylor profile points to a versatile defensive back who can add value in the secondary and on special teams, with documented kickoff and punt-return production showing dependable open-field ability and useful game-day flexibility[4]. His listed return numbers suggest he can help flip field position while giving Baylor a depth piece who contributes beyond traditional DB snaps[4]. I would view him as a fit for teams that want an athlete with role-player reliability, special-teams upside, and the kind of functional versatility coaches tend to trust.
