Christian Sampleton brings veteran Yale DL grit and gap-control reliability
In the 2021 season, Christian Sampleton was a seasoned Yale defensive lineman who posted 3 tackles, 2 solo stops, 2 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in game notes against Dartmouth, and earlier in his Yale career he logged 11 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in the 2019 season. He profiles as a steady, rotational interior/outside presence who wins with leverage, effort and experience rather than flash, which makes him the kind of blue-collar fit coaches love when they want disruption without drama.
