a dependable, all-purpose Leatherneck back with proven versatility
Alex Douglas is listed as a running back for Western Illinois, but his profile reads like a Swiss Army knife: in the 2007 season, he totaled 86 carries for 445 yards and 7 touchdowns while also catching 8 passes for 55 yards, showing he could help as both a runner and receiver. He also earned the Coaches’ Appreciation Award, a nice hint that coaches trusted his effort and reliability. If you want a back who can handle work, stay involved on passing downs, and add toughness to the room, Douglas is a sensible fit.
