Versatile, high-motor YSU DB who turned a walk-on opportunity into a defensive role
Jordan Trowers is a Youngstown State defensive back who has earned attention by producing as an undersized underdog-turned-impact player, tying for the team lead with 51 total tackles in 2023 and adding 39 solo stops plus five pass breakups; that kind of willingness to tackle and stay involved suggests a gritty, reliable fit for a defense that values toughness, instincts, and consistency over flash.
