Kevin Brown gives Illinois State a compact, efficient back with punch-to-yardage upside
Kevin Brown is a veteran Illinois State RB whose current stat line shows 52 carries for 234 rushing yards and 3 TDs in the 2026 season, plus receiving and return-value versatility that adds hidden utility. He’s been a useful, efficient piece before too: in the 2021 season he averaged 7.2 yards per carry at 5-foot-8, 190 pounds, suggesting burst and low-center-of-gravity balance. The appeal is simple: dependable, multi-phase depth with juice after contact and special-teams value, though he looks more like a complementary fit than a bell-cow centerpiece.
