Ryan Johnson brings veteran edge and instant disruption to Northwestern’s defensive line
In the 2022 season, Ryan Johnson made an immediate Northwestern impact with a sack in his debut against Nebraska, and his 6-foot-4, 280-pound frame gives the Wildcats a sturdy, experienced DL presence.[3] He profiles as a steady, physical defender who can hold the point of attack and create pressure without needing to flash every snap, which is exactly the kind of grown-man football that plays in the Big Ten.[3]
