veteran Detroit guard with scoring touch and two-way grit
In the available Detroit/college records, Kandace Evans has long been a steady guard profile: a perimeter scorer who also contributes steals, with one Detroit season listing 27 steals and a 1.0 steals-per-game pace. Her game reads as energetic and scrappy more than flashy—someone who can help with toughness, pressure defense, and timely outside shooting, like the 15 made threes noted in a 2006 Detroit preview. If you want a backcourt player who brings edge, experience, and reliable hustle, she fits the bill.
