Kalia Mancell brings veteran VCU guard energy, but the stat line says the role is modest
Kalia Mancell is a VCU guard with long-term program familiarity, but the available public stats show a limited on-court role rather than a high-usage scorer: in the 2001-02 season, she appeared in 16 games with 0 starts and averaged 0.2 points and 0.9 minutes per game, while later aggregate profiles still show low scoring volume and a respectable free-throw touch. The takeaway: she looks like a depth piece who can provide experience, hustle, and bench stability more than headline numbers—useful if your team values low-drama, system-ready guards who know their job and won’t try to hijack the offense.
