Becca Jonas brought real paint presence to Drake
Becca Jonas was a 6-foot-2 frontcourt force for Drake, and in the 2014-15 season she averaged 12.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while ranking among the Missouri Valley’s better newcomers. She showed a reliable inside scoring touch, a strong rebounding motor, and enough toughness to produce multiple double-doubles; that kind of rebound-and-rim protection profile is exactly what you plug into a team that needs physicality. One caution flag: her college career included a knee issue in 2017, so durability is part of the scouting conversation.
