Hunter VaDeer brings high-end Minnesota arm talent to Creighton
VaDeer arrives at Creighton as a polished two-way prospect, ranked among Minnesota’s best prep arms and known for a crafty right-handed delivery, mound competitiveness, and real bat-speed pop. In his junior season, he posted a 9-1 record with a 1.43 ERA and 115 strikeouts in 49 innings, plus he showed impact power at the plate. The fit is intriguing: he offers upside on the mound, athleticism in the outfield, and the kind of intensity and multi-sport toughness coaches love.
