Ty Hawkins brings dual-threat upside, but Georgia Southern fit is unconfirmed
I couldn’t verify a Georgia Southern Eagles DB named Tyrail Hawkins from the available sources; the closest match is Ty Hawkins, a 6'0", 203-pound quarterback at SMU who showed explosive dual-threat ability in high school and limited college action, including a perfect 1-for-1 passing line for 9 yards and 21 rushing yards in 2025. He profiles as an athlete with athleticism, playmaking instincts, and versatility, but there is not enough reliable evidence here to assess him as a defensive back or to give a true current-performance evaluation for Georgia Southern.
