Craig Nelson brings efficient, breakaway-capable production to Southern’s backfield
Craig Nelson is a productive Southern running back whose 2024 profile shows efficiency more than high-volume work: 558 rushing yards on 97 carries with 4 touchdowns, good for 5.8 yards per carry, plus a 2021 Southern stat line that included 206 yards and 3 scores in 10 games.[4][5] At 5-foot-10 and about 180 pounds, he looks like a compact, decisive runner who can make the most of touches rather than dominate with sheer size.[3] His appeal is as a reliable, scheme-friendly RB who can add burst and efficiency if your team wants a versatile, low-drama contributor.[4][5]
