LMU’s low-usage guard with a high-IQ, team-first profile
In the latest available college data, Anthony Yu’s LMU resume is more about steadiness and fit than box-score volume: he appeared in 1 game as a freshman in the 2020-21 season and did not play in games as a sophomore in 2021-22, so there isn’t current stat-line production to sell here[1][5]. What stands out is his guard frame (6-2) and the kind of roster value that often comes from practice competitiveness, composure, and basketball IQ rather than flashy numbers; he also earned a spot on LMU’s WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll, which hints at the reliable, disciplined, team-first type coaches tend to like[1][13].
