Scott Wheatley’s Missouri fit is all about veteran versatility and trench IQ
Scott Wheatley is a veteran Missouri lineman whose value comes from experience, position flexibility, and an old-school trench mentality rather than flashy box-score stats. Missouri’s roster and team coverage show him as part of a deep offensive line room, and the biggest takeaway from available reporting is that Mizzou has leaned on adaptable, assignment-sound linemen to survive front-seven tests; that makes Wheatley the kind of player coaches trust if they want steadiness, toughness, and a dependable fit in a physical system.
