The 6'2" Liberty linebacker built for the rotation
Devin Hewett enters the 2026 season as a junior linebacker on Liberty’s roster at 6'2" and 185 pounds, giving the Flames a long, lean defender with room to keep adding strength and range.[1] His current appeal is less about eye-popping stat totals and more about projection: he fits the modern linebacker mold as an athlete who can grow into a versatile role in a defense that needs speed, pursuit, and reliability in space.[1] If your team wants an instinctive, developmental linebacker with upside and special-teams value, Hewett is exactly the kind of player worth tracking.[1]
