Cortez Paige brings proven volume and back-end reliability to Northwestern State’s secondary
Paige’s value shows up in production and toughness: Northwestern State’s roster notes multiple big-tackle outings, including 10 tackles vs. Stephen F. Austin, eight vs. Sam Houston, and seven at Houston with a tackle for loss, which points to a DB who is active near the ball and willing to finish plays. His fit is strongest for a defense that wants a physical, assignment-sound defensive back who can help against the run and handle steady workload; the main question is whether his game translates into more playmaking splash at the next level.
