South Dakota LB Alex Gray: a versatile, proven playmaker with defensive range
Alex Gray is listed by ESPN as a South Dakota Coyotes linebacker, but the most concrete college production available in the search results comes from his Appalachian State years, where he logged 53 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 passes defended in 2015 after earning major special-teams reps the year before[5][17]. That profile points to a defender with range, ball skills, and the kind of intensity coaches value in coverage-heavy linebacker roles, especially on special teams[17]. The main fit question is current status, because the available results do not show recent South Dakota game production or injury updates.
