Sacramento State Legend Turned CFL Hall of Famer
Ricky Ray, the Sacramento State Hornets' Hall of Fame QB from the early 2000s, dazzled with pinpoint accuracy—like his 18/25 for 344 yards and 3 TDs in a wild 64-61 win over Cal State Northridge—before dominating the CFL with a 66.9% completion rate, 43,900 yards, and 222 TDs over 15 seasons, cementing his status as Edmonton's all-time passing leader. His cool-headed precision, clutch playmaking, and transition to pro stardom make him a blueprint for aspiring QBs; if you're building a team, study Ray for that rare blend of college poise and big-league grit.
