Veteran Texas Tech linebacker with a blue-collar edge
In the 2006 season, Kellen Tillman gave Texas Tech 41 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and a sack, showing the kind of physical, SAM-linebacker presence that holds up against the run and can tilt drives with timely stops. Texas Tech’s roster notes also highlight his resilience: after unfortunate knee injuries, he earned a sixth year of eligibility and stayed locked into the strongside role. If you want a linebacker with size, toughness, and proven comeback grit, he’s a fit; if you’re chasing flashy splash plays, that’s not really his lane.
