Chris Iles has earned a bigger role for Nicholls, moving from first guard off the bench to a starting spot
Chris Iles, a sophomore guard for Nicholls, has clearly climbed the trust ladder by going from the first sub off the bench as a freshman to a starter, which signals coach confidence, steadiness, and a growing command of the system. His value is less about flash and more about reliability: he brings guard play that has translated into a larger role, and that kind of progression usually matters to teams looking for disciplined, coachable players who can hold up under pressure.
