versatile, local Colorado defender with linebacker experience and special-teams background
Walters is a Colorado Springs native who has already shown football versatility, including a move from defensive back to linebacker and game action on special teams, which suggests a player who can learn quickly and contribute in multiple roles. Northern Colorado listed him as a linebacker after that transition, and his background in both football and other sports points to coordination and competitiveness rather than just raw measurables. For a team, he fits best as a developmental, scheme-flexible depth piece who can add value through effort, adaptability, and special-teams utility rather than headline-grabbing production.
