young Idaho QB with live-arm upside and spring-game buzz
Teeney enters 2026 as Idaho’s sophomore quarterback, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound passer who showed early efficiency in 2025, completing 10 of 16 throws for 53 yards and a touchdown while adding 19 rushing yards and a score across two games.[12][10] He also flashed in Idaho’s 2026 spring game, connecting for a fourth-quarter touchdown and showing the kind of poise coaches love in a young QB.[14] The fit question is about ceiling: he offers mobility, quick-game efficiency, and developmental upside, but he is still early in his college climb and hasn’t yet logged a large body of work.[2][11]
