Edgar Gastelum brings experienced leg strength to Arizona’s kicking battle
Edgar Gastelum has long been in the mix at Arizona as a walk-on-style specialist with a powerful frame and proven kickoff ability, and one practice report noted he was making 3 of 4 field-goal tries in 2016. He profiles as a reliable, competition-tested kicker whose value comes from depth, consistency, and special-teams flexibility more than splashy stats, which is exactly the kind of low-drama, high-utility profile that can matter on a roster.
