Duquesne’s Iron Wall – 11/11 Starts, NEC Top-2 Sack Protection, Future Senior Bowl Watch List
Vincent Lumia, the 6’3”, 290-pound offensive tackle from Duquesne, started all 11 games at right tackle in the 2023 season, anchoring an offensive line that ranked second in the NEC for fewest sacks allowed (1.73 per game). His differentiators include relentless intensity, a ‘no-surrender’ mentality, and elite hand placement that neutralizes even the fastest defenders. Though he transferred to Louisville in 2024 and was named to the 2024 Senior Bowl Watch List, his Duquesne legacy remains defined by durability—he played through minor knee soreness without missing a game. Personality-wise, Lumia is a team-first leader who elevates practice intensity daily. If you need an OL who brings consistency, physicality, and leadership, he’s a perfect fit. Why care? He’s the rare tackle who makes your QB’s job easier while commanding the line with authority.
