Brianjay Ross brings captain-level reliability to NIU’s secondary
Brianjay Ross is a Northern Illinois safety whose value starts with trust: he lettered as a sophomore, junior, and senior at DeKalb and served as a senior captain on a program that won three conference titles during his tenure. That background suggests a disciplined, competitive defender with strong locker-room credibility and the kind of consistency coaches usually love in the back end. If you want a safety who adds steadiness, leadership, and winning-program habits rather than just flash, Ross is the type of fit worth caring about.
