Steady, Physical SMU DB With Veteran Experience
Randall Goode is a former SMU defensive back whose profile points to a compact, physical defender at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds with a veteran background and two seasons in the program[2][4][7]. His college stat line shows 28 games played with 31 solo tackles and 16 assists, suggesting a reliable, assignment-sound contributor rather than a splash-play specialist[3]. He looks like the kind of defender coaches trust for toughness and consistency, especially in space and in support, which makes him a sensible fit for teams valuing disciplined secondary play[1][5].
