Colorado CB Gardner McKay: veteran cover man with special-teams bite
Gardner McKay’s calling card in the 2008 season was versatility and reliability: he played in all 12 games with 10 starts, split time at right corner and nickel, logged 678 snaps, and added 43 tackles plus 7 more on special teams for Colorado.[1] Earlier Colorado coverage notes described him as having solid coverage skills and a strong chance to push for a starting role, with an ankle injury briefly interrupting camp but not his momentum.[11] If you want a defender who can handle multiple spots and bring a physical, high-effort edge, McKay fits the mold.
