Albert Almanza brings veteran, efficient frontcourt versatility to Sam Houston
Albert Almanza is a seasoned 6-foot-6 G/F who has long been valued for efficient scoring, rebounding, and shooting touch—he finished his Sam Houston career with 9.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game on .565 shooting and .364 from three across 126 games. His calling card is versatility: he can score inside, stretch the floor, and handle multiple frontcourt roles without needing the ball to dominate. For a team, that means a low-drama, high-IQ connector who fits best as a reliable, steady rotation piece rather than a high-usage star.
