Freshman VMI outfielder with projectable speed and upside
Ayden Albright enters the 2026 season as a freshman outfielder at VMI after a strong prep résumé at Mountain View, where he started varsity for his final three seasons and was a two-time Preseason All-American. He’s the kind of player who can bring athleticism and growth potential to a lineup, with early college usage showing he’s already part of VMI’s mix. For a team, the appeal is upside: a right-handed corner/centerfield-type profile with room to develop into a steady contributor if the bat and game speed keep trending up.
