Wyatt McBee brings veteran size, local grit, and trench depth to Fresno State
In the 2026 season, Wyatt McBee is listed by Fresno State as a 6-foot-2, 276-pound senior defensive lineman from Firebaugh, giving the Bulldogs an experienced, homegrown interior presence with real frame and college-tested maturity[1]. The public record here is more about pedigree than flashy stat lines: McBee’s appeal is the combination of veteran depth, local toughness, and a walk-on-to-roster type of chip-on-the-shoulder background that usually plays well in the trenches[1][12]. If a team wants a sturdy, physical DL who fits a blue-collar culture and can add reliability to the rotation, McBee checks a lot of boxes[1].
