Trevor Darby’s Elon profile: a seasoned, two-way linebacker with captain-grade pedigree
Trevor Darby entered Elon as a two-star recruit and three-year team captain out of Davidson Day, where he was a two-time first-team all-state linebacker and led his team in sacks and tackles as a junior. In Elon’s 2016 season, he appeared in seven games and posted 30 total tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss, showing the kind of downhill, assignment-sound play coaches love in a linebacker. The big differentiator is his leadership and production track record, not just his measurables—he brings a high-floor, program-first mentality that fits teams looking for toughness, consistency, and locker-room juice.
