Ellis Knudson brings rare QB-to-TE versatility to Towson
Knudson is a useful depth piece for Towson because his background as a quarterback gives him a different skill profile than a typical tight end, with enough ball-handling and offensive feel to add wrinkle value if the Tigers want a versatile, hybrid option. Towson’s roster page and game notes show he has been used in multiple roles, which suggests he offers scheme flexibility rather than pure box-score production[1][3]. For a team looking for a movable TE who can understand timing, spacing, and trick-play upside, he is an interesting fit.
