Myron Newberry brings ball-hawking upside and steady coverage value to Hawaii’s secondary
Myron Newberry is a Hawaii defensive back whose appeal is built on playmaking, not just clean stat lines: his college production includes 53 tackles, 10 pass breakups, four interceptions, and a 76-yard pick-six, which signals instinct, range, and finishing ability in coverage[3]. He looks like the kind of DB who can fit a secondary that values urgency and turnover creation, though the available public data is limited and does not provide a current-season update beyond his roster profile[1][3].
