a gritty Montana guard with veteran Griz DNA
Greg Spurgetis was a Montana guard from the 2005-06 through 2007-08 seasons, known more for toughness and team fit than box-score stuffing; in his Montana career he logged modest minutes and scoring, including 1.2 points per game in both his 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons, while earning team recognition as co-Most Inspirational in 2006-07. He looks like the kind of player coaches trust: steady, low-ego, and wired for role acceptance rather than headline hunting. If you want a gritty locker-room guy who brings energy, buy-in, and continuity, he fits the mold.
