Kris Guyton brings veteran playmaking and production to UAB’s linebacker room
Kris Guyton profiles as a productive, disruptive linebacker who made a real impact at UAB, finishing with 164 career tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions in the program’s records. His value goes beyond the box score: the turnover numbers suggest fast-trigger instincts, downhill aggression, and a knack for creating momentum-changing plays. For a team, he looks like a fit if you want a physical inside linebacker who can diagnose quickly, tackle reliably, and add occasional splash plays rather than just chase stats.
