Former Florida frontcourt enforcer Chris Richard brought rebounding, toughness, and defense
Chris Richard was a physical, high-motor frontcourt player for the Florida Gators, valued more for rebounding, interior defense, and intensity than for scoring polish. At 6-foot-7, he fit as a rugged power forward/center who could battle on the glass and provide energy minutes, though scouting notes described limited offensive range and little shot creation. Florida’s roster notes also show he contributed in short bursts as a role player, which makes him the kind of glue guy coaches trust when they need effort, toughness, and board work over touches.
