Eric Gaines brings end-to-end speed and chaos to Kent State’s backcourt
Eric Gaines is a live-wire guard whose calling card is burst, pace, and pressure on both ends; his athleticism and playmaking make him a disruptive fit for an uptempo system, while scouts have long noted that his jumper and efficiency can be the swing skills. His college track record shows he can create offense, but his best value comes when he’s attacking gaps, pushing tempo, and forcing opponents into uncomfortable decisions. If your team wants instant energy, rim pressure, and defensive juice, he’s a strong fit; if you need a polished half-court sniper, that’s not his lane.
