Will Montgomery brings veteran center toughness and All-ACC pedigree to Virginia Tech
Will Montgomery was an honorable mention All-ACC center at Virginia Tech and started 23 consecutive games, which tells you plenty about his reliability, durability, and technical consistency in the 2004-2005 seasons. He was praised for a smooth transition from guard to center, strong grading marks, and a knack for finishing blocks, making him the kind of interior lineman coaches love: steady, physical, and assignment-sound. If your team values a gritty, experienced anchor in the middle, Montgomery is exactly that—no flash, just dependable trench work with real nastiness.
