Nia Chima is already a steady, high-upside frontcourt piece for UMass Lowell
In the 2024-25 season, freshman forward Nia Chima earned America East All-Rookie honors while averaging 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds in 18 games, showing efficient finishing and flashes of board work. Her best game came against Binghamton, when she scored 11 points, and she also posted a season-high seven rebounds versus New Hampshire, which hints at real growth potential inside. At 6-foot-1, she brings length, energy, and a nice fit for a team that wants a young forward who can keep developing without needing the offense built around her.
