Former 4-star LB with SEC pedigree and real edge potential
Rian Davis brings a legit power-conference résumé: he was a 4-star recruit out of Wekiva High, ranked among the nation’s top outside linebackers, and at UCF he produced 14 tackles in seven games in 2023 while working mostly in a backup and special-teams role. The appeal is his size, athletic profile, and experience in big-time programs, but the key question is health and role clarity after an injury-plagued college journey and a 2024 transfer-portal re-entry. If you want upside, toughness, and special-teams value, he’s intriguing; if you need a locked-in every-down starter, the tape-to-production gap still matters.
