Mike Montgomery brings ball-hawking potential and back-end versatility to Valparaiso
Mike Montgomery is a defensive back who fits the mold of a reliable, physical secondary piece: the kind of player valued for coverage discipline, tackling willingness, and special-teams flexibility rather than headline-grabbing stats. Publicly available, reliable football-specific production data for his Valparaiso career is limited in the search results, so the clearest takeaway is fit: he projects as a depth-adding defender who can help stabilize the back end and compete for snaps through consistency, effort, and coachability. If you need an instinctive DB who can adapt and do the dirty work, he’s worth a look.
