Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns' 2009 Role Player with Untapped Upside
Corey Bloom, a 6-5 senior guard for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in the 2009 season, averaged modest 2.0 PPG, 0.5 RPG, and 0.2 APG on 28.9% FG while flashing potential with a career-high 8 points and 23 minutes off the bench; his high school pedigree from Brother Martin—back-to-back Louisiana 5A state titles in 2004-05 and All-State honors—hints at a gritty competitor with size and championship intensity who could thrive as a versatile wing in systems valuing hustle and perimeter defense. A low-risk flyer for teams seeking developmental depth.
