Montana State DL Starter with 22-Game Consecutive Start Record and High-Intensity Play
Zach Wright, Montana State’s defensive tackle, ended spring 2026 as the starter despite lacking elite size, compensating with relentless intensity, 22 consecutive starts, and a reputation for personal pride that fuels his Bobcat career. In 2015, he logged 35 tackles (4.5 for loss, 2 sacks) and forced a fumble, showcasing his ability to disrupt plays beyond raw stats. His 6'2", 265-lb frame (per Yahoo) and Texas-born grit make him a high-fit, battle-tested DL for teams needing intensity over girth. No major injury history reported; his differentiator is mental toughness and consistency.
