veteran leg with big-game range and a high-floor special-teams profile
Brandon Ruiz is a proven college kicker with SEC experience, a career that includes strong accuracy stretches and clutch-volume moments, and a leg that has shown range into the 40s and beyond in past seasons. In Mississippi State’s 2020 season, he handled high-leverage kicking duties and delivered multiple field goals in key games, showing he can absorb pressure without melting down like a cheap plastic lawn chair. He stands out for composure, touch on shorter kicks, and dependable extra-point work, though his value depends on consistency after some uneven field-goal stretches earlier in his career.
