Brandon Albert is a versatile, ascending linebacker with real two-way pedigree
In the 2025 season, Lafayette linebacker Brandon Albert saw action in six games and recorded two tackles, with one each against Stonehill and Georgetown; at 6-foot-0 and 207 pounds in 2026, he brings a compact, versatile frame and a strong high-school résumé built on 295 tackles, 15 sacks, and 6 interceptions. His differentiator is range and toughness: he played outside linebacker, safety, wide receiver, and running back in high school, plus he was a captain and all-state performer, which hints at instincts, competitiveness, and a team-first edge. He looks like a good fit for a defense valuing athletic, high-motor linebackers with upside.
