Centenary's Towering Lead Guard Tamed by Elite Defense
Jarmorrow Moragne, Centenary Gentlemen's 6-foot-5 senior lead guard entering the 2004 season, showcased scoring prowess as the team's top option but was decisively limited to just five points by Iowa's Pierre Pierce in an 88-53 rout, highlighting potential vulnerabilities against athletic, physical defenders. His size as a perimeter player offers unique mismatch advantages for driving and rebounding, making him a gritty, high-motor fit for teams needing versatile wings with leadership intangibles—ideal for mid-major programs valuing multi-positional toughness over pure efficiency.
