Kevin Rourke is a high-upside UMass Lowell righty still building his college résumé
In the 2025 season, Kevin Rourke appeared in four games for UMass Lowell, starting two, and logged 6.2 innings with four strikeouts and five walks, a small sample that suggests a developing arm rather than a finished product.[1] The appeal is his projection: he’s a right-handed pitcher already trusted enough to make spot starts, but he’ll need sharper command to turn that opportunity into real momentum.[1] If you want a depth arm with room to grow, he’s a reasonable watch-list fit; if you need immediate reliability, the current production is still too limited to call him a proven impact piece.[1]
