Randy Onwuasor brought veteran scoring punch to LSU
In the 2017-18 season, Randy Onwuasor gave LSU a reliable, older-guard option: a graduate transfer who had led Southern Utah with 23.6 points per game in 2016-17, then settled into a complementary role for the Tigers while still producing 4.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per game. His calling cards were efficiency, toughness, and instant offense off the dribble, plus a feel for stepping up when injuries forced him into bigger minutes. If a team wants a physical, experienced guard who can score without needing the spotlight, he fit the bill.
